Sarah Riddle

Sarah brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience across aquaculture, food production, processing to her role at SAIC. Her career spans influential positions at Scottish Sea Farms, Aquascot and Marine Harvest, as well as major global brands including Coca‑Cola and Mars, where she built a reputation for strategic delivery, operational leadership, and commercial performance.

 

Sarah has deep, practical insight into the aquaculture value chain, developed through years of direct engagement with farmers, processors, retailers, regulators, and supply‑chain partners. She understands emerging innovation trends, best practice, and the real‑world challenges facing producers, processors and the wider blue economy. Her extensive industry network and hands‑on approach make her an independent and  trusted adviser across the sector, recognised for her drive, problem‑solving strengths, and commitment to achieving meaningful, industry‑wide impact.

 

In addition to leading SAIC, Sarah continues in her role as Managing Director of Northern Light Consulting, supporting clients in construction, engineering, and food production. A committed advocate for regional economic development, she also serves as Chair of the West Highland Chamber of Commerce.
